Samsung Records The Highest Annual Sales in Its History During 2021

South Korean company Samsung’s operating profit rose 53.3% in the fourth quarter of 2021, as record sales helped overcome challenges the company faces due to supply chain issues.

The world’s largest smartphone maker said operating profit rose to KRW 13.87 trillion, or $11.55 billion, for the October-December 2021 period, up from KRW 9 trillion during the same period last year.

Samsung recorded its highest annual sales of KRW 279.6 trillion in 2021, or about $232 billion, an 18% jump from the previous year.
