The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) saw a record-breaking performance on Tuesday, supported by an improved sentiment regarding a possible agreement on a new stimulus package.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average broke the 30,000-point level once again and reached 30,046 earlier in the session, before closing higher by 185.28 points, or 0.6%, at 29,823.92 points.
Meanwhile, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite indices closed at new record highs, gaining 1.1% and 1.3%, respectively, with the first closing at 3,662.45 and the second at 12,355.11.
