The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) closed Monday mostly on big gains, after BioNTech and Pfizer announced a 90% success for their newly-developed Coronavirus vaccine.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average saw its best gains since June 5 and added 834.6 points, or 2.95%, to close at 29,157.97 points.
The S&P 500 index rose by 41 points, or 1.17%, to settle at 3,550.50 points.
Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite lost 1.53% and finished at 11,713.78 points.
