The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) closed Monday higher, opening the week with a positive performance supported by positive news about the health of US President Donald Trump, who is reportedly preparing to return to the White House.
In addition, Wall Street remains in anticipation for a new stimulus package to be passed by the US Congress.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average added a little over 465 points, or 1.68%, and closed at 28,148.64 points.
The S&P 500 finished higher by 60.2 points, or 1.80%, at the level of 3,408.63 points.
The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 257.47 points, or 2.32%, to settle at the level of 11,332.49 points.
