NATO: Belarus could join the war in Ukraine

Belarus could “soon” join the war in Ukraine, US/NATO officials said on Tuesday, tweeted a CNN reporter, and are already taking steps to do so.

“Putin needs support” and “anything would help” one official was quoted as saying. The reporter said that Belarusian opposition told them that combat units are ready as soon as the next few days, with thousands prepared to deploy.
