Microsoft announced its third-quarter fiscal year results that achieved the largest revenue growth since 2018.
The company’s shares fell in post-closing trading by more than 3.5%.
Earnings per share reached $ 1.95, compared to the expected $ 1.78.

The software and hardware manufacturer reported annual revenue growth of 19% for the quarter ended March 31, according to a statement.
This is the largest quarterly increase the company has recorded since 2018, thanks in part to gains in personal computer sales resulting from the shortfall caused by the Coronavirus last year.
