Italy Records 331 Deaths From The Coronavirus

The Ministry of Health said that Italy recorded 331 deaths related to the Coronavirus today, Sunday, compared to 344 the previous day, while the number of daily infections decreased to 15 thousand and 746 after it was 17,567 the previous day.

Italy has recorded 114,254 deaths related to Covid-19 since the outbreak began in February last year, the second highest in Europe after Britain, and the seventh in the world. The country has recorded 3.77 million infections to date.

The number of people infected with Covid-19 in hospitals – excluding intensive care patients – reached 27,251 today, Sunday, down from 27,654 the previous day.

The intensive care units received 175 new cases, down from 186 on Saturday. The total of intensive care patients decreased to 3,585, from 3,588.
