Today’s survey showed that an indicator of investor confidence in the eurozone jumped in March to its highest reading in more than a year, supported by an improved outlook for the current situation.
The Sentex Eurozone index rose to 5.0 from -0.2 in February, its highest level since February 2020. A Reuters poll indicated a reading of 1.9.
The index of expectations rose to 32.5 from 31.5 in February, while the current conditions index rose to -19.3 from -27.5 in February.
Sentex said in a statement that global vaccination campaigns are making good progress, which reinforces hopes for effective protection.
