Heineken beer company’s sales declined in the third quarter of 2023 after completing exit procedures from its investments in Russia, as the Dutch company’s sales recorded a decline of 4.2% in this period.
It is likely that the main reason behind the decline in sales could be the slowdown in the global economy, the deterioration of economic conditions, in addition to the significant rise in global prices, which are factors that have created a state of consumer reluctance to buy.
Heineken sales in the United States increased by 2.2%, but declined in the Eurozone and the Middle East by 8.6% and 15.4%, respectively.
The company’s total profits for the nine months ending last September declined to 1.924 billion euros, compared to profits recorded in the same period last year at 2.199 billion dollars.
