Gold on the Fence: Which Side Takes It? 19/11/2025

Recent profit-taking followed prior rallies, with downside pressure reinforced by price action below the simple moving averages and an RSI reset from overbought.

At the same time, price is still tracking an ascending support line, so the near-term read is mixed. Best to trade the levels:

Bearish continuation (preferred only with confirmation)

  • Stay below 4,100 and break decisively beneath 4,020 (4H/clean close) → opens 4,966 as the first target, then 3,940.

Bullish confirmation

  • A confirmed 1H close above 4,106 would put the upside back in play toward 4,135.

Event risk

  • FOMC minutes today could spark elevated volatility—tighten risk and avoid overexposure around the release.

Risk note
Gold trading carries high risk and may not suit all investors. Use prudent sizing and firm stops; reassess quickly if either trigger level gives way.
