Official data released on Monday showed that industrial production in Germany declined more than predicted in June, indicating that manufacturing sector activity is weakening.
The industrial output of the Eurozone’s economic powerhouse fell 1.5% month on month, according to the federal statistics body Destatis, compared to -0.4% predicted and -0.1% previously.
Annual German Industrial Production fell by 1.7% in June, compared to 0% in May.
