Thursday, August 5th data showed orders for German-made goods rose more than expected in June, driven by bookings of large industrial products primarily by domestic customers.
Data published by the Federal Statistics Office showed that orders for “made in Germany” goods jumped 4.1% month-on-month, after adjusting for seasonal factors.
This beat Reuters forecasts for a rise of 1.9% and came after an upwardly revised 3.2% decline in May.
