Fed’s Williams Optimistic about Economic Recovery

As more Americans are vaccinated and households and businesses from fiscal support, there are reasons to be optimistic about the U.S. economy

President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, John Williams, said on Tuesday that he is optimistic for the United States economy as more people are vaccinated and benefiting from the relief package.

“We’re making great strides on the vaccination program… I think we have a lot of positives going forward.”

In addition, he noted that low interest rates could help economic recovery.
