Europe’s stocks finished higher on Wednesday, continuing to hit new record highs as investors focus on earnings reports and economic data.
The pan-European STOXX Europe 600 index rose by 2 points or 0.42% to close at 474.32 points, maintaining an upward trend for the eight consecutive sessions.
This is the longest rising streak for the index since June 16.
The UK’s FTSE100 added 0.83%, the French CAC40 gained 0.55%, and the German DAX increased by 0.35% to finish at a new all-time record high.
