European stocks finished higher on Friday, extending the fifth weekly rise in six weeks, with a relative improvement in risk appetite.
The STOXX Europe 600 index increased 2 points, or 0.42%, to close at 472.34 points.
The pan-European index closed the week higher by or 0.75%, maintaining a month-to-date rise of 2.3%.
Meanwhile, the French CAC40 leveled up by 0.24% to close the week higher by 0.84% at 6,681.92 points.
In Germany, the DAX gained 0.28% and finished at 15,851.75 points, registering a weekly rise of 0.37%.
The UK FTSE100 also managed the close the week higher by 0.85%, after gaining 0.32% today to finish at 7,148.01 points.
