European stocks rose on Monday, opening the week with a positive performance after registering their best monthly performance since May last month.
The STOXX Europe 600 index added 3.26 points or 0.69% today to close at 475.19 points, logging its second-highest closing level of all time.
France’s CAC40 index finished higher by 53.51 points or 0.80% at 6743.50 points, Germany’s DAX increased by 150.92 points or 0.96% to record its fourth-highest closing level at 15932.12, while UK’s FTSE100 recorded its biggest rise in about a month of 48.83 points or 0.68% to settle at 7187.18.
