The European Parliament gave the green light Tuesday (April 13th) to the two main committees to vote this week on a trade pact between the European Union and the United Kingdom, but postponed a decision on whether the full parliament will give its approval later this month.
The European Parliament vote will be the last step in the approval of the agreement between Britain and the European Union last December.
Members of Parliament suspended the vote in March to protest British changes to arrangements on Northern Ireland.
