The Euro (EUR) declined on Monday against the rising U.S. Dollar (USD), for the second consecutive session.
The EUR/USD pair lost 0.24% to reach 1.1843.
The pair marked its worst daily performance since August 19, a day after its first loss since August 26.
It is worth noting that the greenback is showing strength across the board, with expectations that a tapering move by the Federal Reserve may require a longer time than previously expected.
