The US Energy Information Administration expected in a report today, Monday, July 18, that oil production in the main shale basins in the United States would rise to the highest level since March 2020 next month.
According to the report, US shale oil production may rise by 136 thousand barrels per day to 9.068 million barrels per day in August.
According to the report, crude production in the Permian Basin in Texas and New Mexico – the largest US shale oil basin – will rise by 78,000 barrels per day to a record level of 5.445 million barrels per day next month.
