The US Dollar (USD) showed a positive performance against major currencies on Monday, opening the week with support from investors’ demand spurred by concerns about a new variant of the Coronavirus.
The Dollar Index (DXY), which measures the greenback performance against a basket of six international currencies, is up by 0.17% at 90.17.
Earlier today, the index rose as high as 91.02, while its lowest was 89.92.
The index movement has been mostly in the positive territory, noting that it ended last week at 90.02.
