Consultations Follow First Round Of Russia-Ukraine Peace Talks

Peace talks between Russia and Ukraine on Monday to bring about a ceasefire to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine have ended.

Russian state media quoted a Ukrainian official saying that delegates from the respective countries will return to their capitals before embarking on a second round of talks, the Ukrainian official said.

According to separate reports citing the Russian delegation, the next round of talks will be held in the coming days.

“We have identified certain points from which we can predict general positions” the delegation said.
