China: Our Country is Open to Joining Regional Economic Partnership

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said that China is open to the idea of joining the Comprehensive and Progressive Partnership Agreement across the Atlantic.

Gao Feng, the spokesman for the ministry, made the remarks at a press conference in Beijing.

Last week, 15 countries from the Asia-Pacific region, including China, signed the Comprehensive Regional Economic Partnership to establish the largest free-trade bloc in the world, in which the United States does not participate.
