Manufacturing sales in Canada increased by 0.3% to $54.1 billion in October, data by Statistics Canada showed on Tuesday.
The September reading was revised to show a rise of 2.2%, compared with a previous estimate of a 1.5% increase.
On an annual basis, manufacturing sales declined by 5.2%.
The rise in sales was almost entirely driven by higher prices, as evident by the numbers in constant dollars.
Paper manufacturing, petroleum and coal products led the increase.
