BNP Paribas Bank announced its data for the first quarter of 2021, recording a net income of 1.8 billion euros, equivalent to 2.18 billion dollars, an increase of 11% from the previous quarter, while analysts expected a net profit of 1.2 billion euros during the first quarter 2021, according to Refinitiv.
The French bank announced strong results from the investment banking division, as these numbers were supported by the recovery in stock trading in particular during the quarter.
