It reached an unprecedented peak at $ 62,575, to continue its series of gains in 2021 and reach a new peak.

The price of the largest cryptocurrencies in the world has more than doubled this year amid the growing acceptance of the traditional financial sector as an investment tool and means of payment, and as investors search for high-yielding assets in light of low interest rates.

Major companies have expressed acceptance of, or invested in, cryptocurrencies, including BNY Mellon, MasterCard and Tesla.
