Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have witnessed a surge in investor interest, recording inflows exceeding $3 billion over the past four days. This has pushed the total net asset value of all bitcoin ETFs to $123.59 billion.
Blackrock’s IBIT Leads the Charge
Blackrock’s IBIT ETF emerged as the top recipient of new investments, attracting a staggering $661.86 million on January 21st alone. This inflow significantly boosted IBIT’s cumulative net inflow to $39.07 billion, surpassing Fidelity’s FBTC by a wide margin (Fidelity’s FBTC has a cumulative net inflow of $12.84 billion).
Grayscale and Other Funds See Inflows
Grayscale’s Bitcoin fund also experienced a notable inflow of $136.39 million. Other participants in the inflow spree include Ark and 21Shares’ ARKB, Fidelity’s FBTC, and Franklin’s EZBC, contributing $8.51 million, $6.97 million, and $6.18 million, respectively.
Bitwise Records Sole Outflow
While most funds enjoyed inflows, Bitwise’s BITB recorded the only outflow of the day, with $17.41 million leaving the fund.
Bitcoin ETF Market Share
The total net asset value of all bitcoin spot ETFs stands at $123.59 billion, representing 5.88% of Bitcoin’s overall market value.
Ether ETFs Join the Inflow Trend
Similar to Bitcoin ETFs, Ether ETFs have also experienced a four-day inflow streak, accumulating $74.43 million in total. Blackrock’s ETHA spearheaded the inflows with $56.31 million, followed by Grayscale’s ETH at $12.49 million.
Other Ether ETFs See Inflows
VanEck’s ETHV, Fidelity’s FETH, and Bitwise’s ETHW contributed $3.65 million, $3.32 million, and $3.10 million, respectively, to the daily inflow for Ether ETFs.
Ether ETF Market Share
Combined, the nine spot Ether ETFs hold a total net asset value of $12.07 billion, translating to 3% of Ether’s market capitalization.
