API: US Oil Inventories Fell Last Week But Fuel Increased

The American Petroleum Institute data showed that crude oil inventories in the United States fell last week, while fuel inventories rose.

The data revealed that crude inventories fell 2.6 million barrels in the week ending April 2, while gasoline inventories increased 4.6 million barrels.

Distillate stocks, which include diesel and heating oil, rose 2.8 million barrels.
