Annual CPI declines to 10% in November

As measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), Inflation in Germany declined to 10% yearly in November from 10.4% in October. This reading came in lower than the market expectation of 10%. Monthly, the CPI declined 0.5%.

Meanwhile, the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), the European Central Bank’s (ECB) preferred inflation gauge, edged lower to 11.3% yearly, as expected.
