Expected stability in the flow of Russian natural gas to Europe today

Data from operators of natural gas pipelines from Russia to Europe indicate that gas flows will stabilize on Tuesday at their low levels.

And the Bloomberg news agency reported that data from the operating company of Nord Stream 1, the main gas pipeline from Russia to Germany via the Baltic Sea, says that it will pump at a rate of 14.5 gigawatts per hour, which is approximately the same average daily pumping since the beginning of this month.

The actual operating capacity of Nord Stream 1 is about 73 gigawatts per hour per day. Still, the Russian natural gas exporter Gazprom reduced supplies to 40% of the operational capacity last June and 20% as of July 27.

It is scheduled to stop pumping completely through the line for a period of 3 days, starting from August 31, according to a previous statement by Gazprom.
