Japan to ban luxury goods exports to Russia from April 5

Japan will ban the export of luxury goods to Russia from April 5, the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said in a statement on Tuesday, March 29, in its latest move in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The banned items include luxury items such as cars, motorcycles, alcoholic beverages, cosmetics, fashion and art pieces, the ministry said.
