Biden Campaign: Our Lawyers Ready if Trump Goes to Court to Stop The Vote Count

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s campaign has said its legal teams will be ready if President Donald Trump implements his threat to go to court to try to stop the vote count.

Earlier on Wednesday, Trump prematurely declared victory in the election. He said: “We are going to the United States Supreme Court. We want all voting to stop”.

“Nearly 100m people cast their ballot before Election Day in the belief — and with the assurances from their state election officials — that their ballot would be counted. Now Donald Trump is trying to invalidate the ballot of every voter who relied on these assurances” Biden’s campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon said in a statement.
