The Euro (EUR) has surged against major currencies during Monday’s trading, supported by the decline of the US Dollar (USD).
A highly anticipated meeting for the European Central Bank (ECB) is set to take place on Thursday, while on Friday the European Union Leaders will discuss the COVID-19 crisis stimulus fund.
The Euro is particularly showing a strong performance against the British Pound (GBP) and the New Zealand Dollar (NZD), surging by 0.95% and 0.90%, respectively.
Additionally, the EUR/JPY is up by 0.84%, while the EUR/USD is up 0.50%, with the Euro trading at $1.13527.
EUR is also up against the Canadian and Australian Dollar, with the EUR/CAD up 0.50%, while the EUR/AUD rising by 0.44%.
The EUR/CHF is trading at 1.068540, up by 0.49%.
