Shares of First Citizens BancShares Inc fell 1% in premarket trading after surging more than 50% on Monday following its deal to acquire the deposits and loans of failed Silicon Valley Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\u00a0S&P 500\u00a0and\u00a0Dow Jones Industrial Average\u00a0rose on Monday after the deal was announced, while the\u00a0Nasdaq Composite\u00a0closed lower, led by a decline in technology-related stocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
