Meanwhile, the US Dollar Index stays in positive territory above 104.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Existing Home Sales in the US declined by 0.7% in January to an adjusted annual rate of 4 million, the National Association of Realtors (NAR) reported on Tuesday. This reading came in below the market expectation of 4.1 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The median existing-home sales price increased 1.3% from one year ago to $359,000,&#8221; the NAR further noted in its publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commenting on the data, \u201chome sales are bottoming out,\u201d said NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun. \u201cPrices vary depending on a market\u2019s affordability, with lower-priced regions witnessing modest growth and more expensive regions experiencing declines.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This data does not have a noticeable impact on the US dollar&#8217;s performance against its major rivals.
