S. stocks so far, should the same mood persist, this could depend on earnings of next week.<br><br>Stocks were higher in the past week, with the Nasdaq leading the charge with a 2.2% gain. <br><br>Cyclical sectors, like materials, industrial stocks and consumer discretionary were outstanding performers, and Tech held their own with a 2.6% gain.
