On an annual level, new home sales increased by 15.2% last month compared with the December 2019 estimate of 731,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An estimated 811,000 new homes were sold in 2020, rising by 18.8% compared with the 2019 level of 683,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, data showed that the median sales price of new houses sold in December 2020 was $355,900, while the average sales price stood at $394,900.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
