US gold futures rose 0.4% to $ 1836.80 an ounce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week, US President-elect Joe Biden unveiled a proposed $ 1.9 trillion stimulus package to stimulate the economy and said he wanted to distribute 100 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine during the first 100 days of his presidency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In other precious metals, silver rose 1.2% to $ 25.03 an ounce.
