{"id":34434,"date":"2020-09-24T21:23:11","date_gmt":"2020-09-24T17:23:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/noortrends.ae\/en\/?p=34434"},"modified":"2020-09-24T21:23:17","modified_gmt":"2020-09-24T17:23:17","slug":"uncertainty-looms-around-brexit-trade-talks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/noortrends.ae\/en\/uncertainty-looms-around-brexit-trade-talks\/09\/24\/economic-reports\/","title":{"rendered":"Uncertainty Looms Around BREXIT Trade Talks"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ireland\u2019s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Simon Coveney, recently said that the United Kingdom (UK) is making negotiations for a new trade deal with the European Union (EU) more difficult by pushing for legislation that undermines international law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;There is a growing sense that perhaps the United Kingdom does not want a deal and that it is more about managing the blame game as the negotiations fail,\u201d the minister was quoted by Reuters as saying.<\/p><p>&#8220;I believe the prime minister and the UK government do want a deal. Even though they are behaving in a strange way to get that done in terms of the legislation coming through.\u201d<\/p><p>&#8220;People have been very taken aback by the deliberate strategy coming from the British government. This is very damaging to Britain&#8217;s reputation outside the bubble of Brexit discussions.\u201d<\/p><p>&#8220;Undoubtedly, the tactics of the British government have made an already very complex negotiation even more difficult.
