{"id":31573,"date":"2020-07-17T21:22:56","date_gmt":"2020-07-17T17:22:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/noortrends.ae\/en\/?p=31573"},"modified":"2020-07-17T21:22:59","modified_gmt":"2020-07-17T17:22:59","slug":"usd-cad-moving-within-small-range","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/noortrends.ae\/en\/usd-cad-moving-within-small-range\/07\/17\/market-updates\/","title":{"rendered":"USD\/CAD Moving Within Small Range"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The USD\/CAD pair has stabilized on Friday, with the Canadian Dollar (CAD) supported by the increase in wholesale sales, while the US Dollar (USD) is supported by the rise in housing starts, despite a retreat in the consumer sentiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During today\u2019s trade, the pair has reached a high of <strong><em>1.35892 <\/em><\/strong>and a low of \u202a<strong><em>1.35650<\/em><\/strong>, and has been moving mostly vertically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, data by Statistics Canada showed that wholesale sales increased over the month of May by 5.7% to $52.6 billion, after falling in April by 21.4% due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The May reading missed market expectations which suggested an 8.5% rise.
