This reading was slightly higher than the expected increase of 7.6 million jobs.<br \/><br \/>This data managed to push US stocks upward for a while, but they have since fallen again, pressured by tariff concerns.  The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell to 41,533 points, losing 374 points, or 0.9%. The S&#038;P 500 also fell to 5,593 points, losing about 20 points, or 0.4%.
